Caffè Nero Partners with Yoyo for Mobile Loyalty

Yoyo Wallet mobile paymentCaffè Nero has partnered with Yoyo Wallet to roll out its mobile payment and loyalty offering across the coffee chain's 600 locations in the UK and Ireland.

It's Caffè Nero's first move into mobile payment and loyalty. Meanwhile, Yoyo’s mobile wallet is currently used in over half of UK universities and one hundred corporate locations, but this will be its first step onto the high street.

It's the culmination of a pitching process that started back in April 2014, when Yoyo won the inaugural [email protected] competition and asked the audience for an introduction to Caffè Nero founder Gerry Ford.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Caffè Nero and evolving the role mobile transactions play for them,” said Michael Rolph, co-founder and CRO of Yoyo Wallet. “For us, innovation around mobile transactions should go beyond just payment, creating a better in-store experience for both brands and their customers.”
