Canadian telco TELUS has selected mobile device management (MDM) company Mformation Technologies Inc. to supply technology to assist it in providing seamless device management capabilities to its CDMA mobile subscribers.
TELUS will use Mformations technology to remotely configure, diagnose, update and manage CDMA feature phones and smart devices throughout all phases of their lifecycle. This will help ensure that TELUSs CDMA customers can make the most of its innovative technologies and networks, advanced mobile devices, and mobile data services.
TELUS will enhance the end-user experience with the real-time control and over-the-air capabilities that Mformations solution provides. In addition, Mformation will contribute to TELUSs industry-leading customer support to its wireless subscribers through the diagnostic capabilities of Mformation Service Manager, which is designed to be forward-compatible with the next-generation of wireless technologies, and which received the 2007 GSM Associations award for Best Service Delivery Platform at this years 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.
TELUS selected Mformation to serve its nationwide CDMA customers because of the companys industry-leading integrated device management solution, and its proven ability to help mobile operators deliver innovative new services.
