Design shop Cath Kidston has launched a mobile-optimised website, powered by the Usablenet technology platform.
The Cath Kidston mobile site offers full Commerce capabilities, as well as support for customer accounts. The site has expandable menus for better navigation on mobile, as well as scrolling image galleries with a tap to zoom feature for a closer look at products.
“Since our inception in 1993, Cath Kidston has emerged into a unique and influential lifestyle brand,” says Amanda Holden, head of eCommerce at Cath Kidston. “Developing a mobile site with Usablenet was an obvious choice to support our companys international growth. Now we can provide all consumers access to the Cath Kidston collection, no matter where they are.”
“According to a recent report from Mobile Consumer Trends there will be more than 20 million mCommerce users in the UK in 4Q11,” says Nick Taylor, CEO of Usablenet. “Cath Kidstons mobile-optimised site will further enable these customers to easily browse and buy items from their favorite brand.”
Access the site by going to www.cathkidston.com from any web-anabled phone.
The Usablenet platform is also behind retail sites from Boots, Mothercare, JD Sports, and M&S.
