Cellebrite, which provides mobile phone synchronisation and management systems, has announced the latest upgrade to its UME-36 system, which allows operators to distribute their applications at the point of sale. Cellebrite says the approach is designed to increase the adoption rate of mobile apps by making installation immediate, simple and seamless.
Cellebrite’s UME-36 is a stand-alone phone memory transfer and backup solution that transfers all forms of content, including pictures, videos, ringtones and SMS, as well as phone book contact data, between a wide range of mobile phones, smartphones and PDAs.
“Cellebrite is committed to providing tools that make it easier for retailers, carriers and subscribers to adopt and leverage the latest technology,” says Cellebrite co-CEO, Yossi Carmil. “Apps for mobile phones are rapidly increasing in popularity and it is our goal to make them as accessible as possible to all users. The UME-36 now makes their installation as easy as a press of a button.”
