Idle screen specialist Celltick has struck a managed service deal with Philippine network operator Globe Telecom through local partner CommVerge Solutions. Powered by the latest version of Cellticks LiveScreen Media, the new service allows millions of Globe Telecom customers to receive entertainment, news, sports, business and lifestyle teasers, as well as advertising and operator promotions, direct to the idle screens of their mobile handsets. The content broadcast to each customer will be segmented according to their historical responses, geographic location, the time of day and individual demographic.
Under the new partnership, which went live last month, Cellticks managed service team is working with the content team at Globe Telecom to create a relevant, high-quality user experience for subscribers. The service will support Globe Telecoms penetration into the Philippines mobile market, while also enabling the company to generate additional services from data usage, advertising and additional network value-added services.
