Skycore LLC, which specialises in application-to-peer (A2P) multimedia messaging services (MMS), has unveiled its enhanced, online, self-service platform, Cellyspace.com 2.0, that enables brands, retailers and mobile marketers to upload, integrate and deliver engaging video content to consumers, along with scannable 1D/2D barcodes and other rich media content.
“For several years now, our platform has enabled video messaging and barcode messaging – just not together in the same message,’ explains Skycore CEO, Rich Eicher. “By integrating such content, marketers can now simultaneously engage consumers with videos, and drive sales with coupons, typically in 1D or 2D barcode formats, for validation and tracking purposes.”
Typical applications could include movie trailers sent with discount tickets; video previews of performers sent with concession coupons or VIP access; action sports videos sent with the venue’s ticket or brand’s shopping coupon; and comedy videos sent with mobile receipts and a ‘Come Back’ coupon.
The platform includes tools for multimedia composition, transcoding, delivery and storage, as well as campaign management, analytics and promotional tools (web links, WAP links, keywords and 2D barcodes).
