Channel 4 Mobile Game Lets Players Aid Cancer Research

Channel 4 has launched a mobile game as part of its Stand Up To Cancer fundraising campaign with Cancer Research UK.
Reverse The Odds is a puzzle game developed by Chunk, Maverick Television’s multiplatform team.
The game includes real images of cells, and poses questions to users about how bright or numerous cells are. Their answers are then gather togethered, essentially crowd-sourcing vital data for researchers.
“Its great to see an increasing number of games for good that support and aid a wide variety of issues,” said Channel 4 games commissioning editor Colin McDonald. “The opportunity to let individual players make such a direct and positive impact on cancer studies whilst still having fun is absolutely incredible.”
