Chelsea Apps Factory Reveals Latest Projects

Apps house Chelsea Apps Factory has announced a series of high-profile app launches for the likes of Vodafone, Wowcher and The Kennel Club.

The company also says it has appointed former Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile man Steve Sweales to manage app development across the business.

The Vodafone app launched today is an AR app for an event at Tate Britain. Attendees can point their phone at a painting to see additional content on the history or story behind the work.

The companys app for Kennel Club is a Puppy Buying Guide for Android phones, offering help and advice for prospective dog owners, while Wowcher is a daily deals service for iPhone.

Mike Anderson, CEO of Chelsea Apps Factory, says: “When we set up Chelsea Apps Factory there was a Gold Rush happening in the apps industry – and there still is. But what no one was doing was getting the investors and developers and marketers together under one roof to develop amazing apps that drive real business benefit.

“Were excited to bring Steve Swales to the team – our team is one of the keys to our success, and were confident that he brings the right blend of experience and creativity to help keep things thriving here in Chelsea as we continue to grow.”
