Low-cost telephone operator Mobile Globe is offering a single fixed rate of 0.02 (0.015) per minute for calls to fixed-line and mobile phones in China during the Olympic Games from 8 to 24 August, using the companys Plug & Play solution. This rate is valid from countries including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan and the US.
Mobile Globe says it offers a fast, simple, and transparent way to save up to 80% on international phone calls. Users only have to register on the Mobile Globe www.mobileglobe.com website and download the software onto their mobiles. There is no access number to dial or call-back system; users can dial directly from the phones address book.
There is no subscription required, and no need to change telecoms operator. Users can access their account via the website at any time and display details of all calls made, as well as the cost billed. The application is free to download and is compatible with the majority of mobile phones; it just requires the mobiles GPRS or 3G option to be enabled.
