Chiquita Offers New Gamified Loyalty App

chiquita appBanana producer and distributor Chiquita has released an expanded version of its loyalty app Chiquita FanFun.

The app includes interactive games, customisable photos and recipes aimed at engaging users and rewarding them with loyalty points that can be redeemed for Chiquita-brand merchandise.

The app, developed with FunMobility, is available in both iOS and Android versions, is driven by Chiquita Points which can be redeemed at an mCommerce store included in the app, with small points awarded for games and larger rewards for sharing content or visiting participating retail locations.

“We are expanding the mobile engagement of Chiquita consumers,” said Rob Adams, director of marketing and channel sales at Chiquita Brands. “This is a creative breakthrough for our category and well be looking forward to building greater momentum through this new app with consumers.”
