ChokaBlok Packaging Gets Augmented with Tesco

Tesco has teamed with creative agency Engine Creative to promote ChokaBlok’s new range of chocolate bars via AR (Augmented Reality).

Via the Tesco Discover apps AR functionality, powered by Aurasma, shoppers can scan ChokaBlok packaging to access a behind-the-scenes video, which users are then encouraged to share via Facebook or Twitter. 

“Working closely with the Tesco team on delivering innovative AR solutions is great, as the ability to create rich AR experiences is improving all of the time,” said Engine managing director Matt Key. “Were currently developing interactive games and replicating photorealistic 3D captured objects and attaching them to real world objects – things we just couldnt do when we first started working with branded AR experiences 18 months ago.”
