Churchs Chicken Chooses the Tunes with In-app Radio Station

Churchs ChickenUS fast food brand Church’s Chicken has partnered with PlayNetwork to introduce a branded radio station within its app.

Created using PlayNetworks Curio content delivery platform, the Church’s Chicken Radio Channel offers a curated selection of music which can be accessed in the app, whether users are in a restaurant or not.

“Music is core to the Church’s brand, and the lives of the guests we serve. Our work with PlayNetwork helps us use music to express our gratitude to our guests and gives us the opportunity to talk about something much bigger,” said Kira Clayborne, senior manager, digital media, at Church’s. “In the future, we hope to highlight our communities, their diversity and love for music through different channels within our app and integrate this within our broader ecosystem. Music is the voice of their community, their past, friends and family, and PlayNetwork is providing us with the runway to tell this story.”

If the selection on offer doesnt include the music of Scottish band Chvrches, then the brand is seriously missing a trick.
