Cineworld Goes Mobile

The company says the site has been launched as a response to the increase in mobile subscriptions within the UK and the growth of SMS messaging, year on year. The latest data shows that 4% of Cineworlds total 1 million visits a week to its website are via mobile.
The mobile site, developed by Can Factory, will enable Cineworld customers to access film times and cinema details, view the latest film synopses, and book tickets easily and securely. Cineworld says the mobile solution will become an integral part of its communication offering and will allow the brand to meet particular marketing objectives, including increased communication with customers within the 15-24 year age group, and the development of an interactive relationship with customers to encourage brand loyalty.
