Cinime Rolls Out Nationwide with PlayStation Campaign

DCM is rolling out its Cinime second screen app to 180 cinemas nationwide.
Developed by Yummi Media, the app can be used to scan promotional materials in cinema foyers, receive location-based rewards and engage over social networks. But at its core is the ability to interact with on-screen content.
Alongside the rollout, PlayStation will be running an interactive quiz campaign, planned by Manning Gottlieb OMD, where questions appearing on the big screen can be answered in-app in order to win a PlayStation-sponsored prize.
“PlayStation is about so much more than just great games, you can also access films through Lovefilm, Netflix and more,” said Lauren Bradley, senior product manager at PlayStation. “The Cinime app gives us a terrific opportunity to get in front of a very diverse audience and remind them of our credentials in this area bringing them all kinds of content including trailers and free downloads.”
