Global hotel and lifestyle brand, citizenM has teamed up with media agency, Born Social to launch a campaign to encourage people back into its hotels this summer, as COVID-19 restrictions start to ease.
Having carved out a brand niche as a ‘misfit among boring hotels’, citizenM aims to do things differently and this new campaign creates a surrealist world that celebrates holidaying in all its glory.
Quirkiness is at the centre of a series of Monty Python-esque animations, including an astronaut marching around the globe, a giant shell with arms stretched out falling from the sky, and a pillow sprouting a cityscape scene.
The campaign will run across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok until the end of July.
