Mobile classified specialist Mobiya has revealed that it is joining the International Classified Media Association (ICMA), the foremost international trade organisation for the classified advertising industry. Like all its members and associates, Mobiya says it is keen to take part in facilitating the exchange of information and best practice in order to improve the performance of the classified ad industry.
Mobiya says the single most valuable benefit of membership of the ICMA is that members are incredibly open and forthcoming about technology, their businesses and the ideas theyve tried. Joining ICMA will allow Mobiya to take part in wide ranging forums, benefit from a vast bank of knowledge, and benefit from the ability to benchmark mobile classifieds against print and online classifieds. To highlight the value of ICMA membership, Mobiya has agreed to sponsor ICMAs 100% Digital conference, which takes place in Amsterdam from 31 October 3 November.
Mobiya says it plans to make the most of its position as market leader in bringing mobile classified services to the traditional classified industry. The company believes it can play a crucial role in the emerging mobile classified space, using mobile media to marry conflicting and competing mediums and help them to grow new markets.
Membership provides Mobiya with the perfect global platform to continue the growth of our business and customer successes, by enabling the gigantic 170 billion dollar classified industry with mobile services and mobile advertising, says Mobiya CEO Martin Davis.
