Clickatell Presents Festive Guide to SMS Marketing

Mobile messaging company Clickatell has released a guide for retailers looking to use mobile marketing techniques over the Christmas shopping season.
The Festive Retail Guide is designed as a tool for stores to better market to their customers this holiday season and all year round, says the company.
Clickatell, which says it specialises in Personalized Priority Messaging (PPM), recommends that retailers capitalise on the growing trend towards mobile consumer engagement with personalised communications.
The guide includes advice on how to create and manage a contact distribution list; establish customer profiles from their account histories; write an effective SMS campaign; and measure the success of SMS campaigns.
It also features information on the tools needed to deliver SMS campaigns.
