Closing Up for Christmas

Christmas is finally upon us, and so its time to shut up shop for the holidays and spend some serious downtime second screening in front of all the Christmas dross on TV.

Well be back with our regular service on Wednesday 2 January, but that doesnt mean therell be nothing to read if you find yourself tiring of gift wrapping and relatives.

Well be posting a 2013 prediction piece every day between Christmas and New Year, and our annual Year in Review feature will be going up on New Years Eve. And of course, if anything big happens between now and then, well lay off the mince pies for as long as it takes to bring you the news.

Well see you back here in 2013. Im not going to say the words year of mobile, but it should be a good one. Thanks for all your support throughout 2012.

And its good night from him:

I tried to be magnanimous about this, to let the young upstart have the last word, but in the end, I couldnt resist sticking my oar in.

2012 has been an amazing year for all of us at Mobile Marketing. We launched two brand new events, the Mobile Retail Summit and Mobile Marketing Live, pushed on with the hughely successful Masterclass series in partnership with James Cameron and his team at Camerjam, and saw our biggest and most successful Awards program yet.

We have no plans to let up in 2013, with more new events on the cards and lots of other stuff too. But our commitment to bringing you all the news as soon as we can remains as strong as ever.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us in any way in 2012, whether thats through sponsorship, partnership or simply checking in often to enjoy our content. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. And may your families get all the tablets they wished for.
