CommonTime Goes Android

CommonTime has launched its latest mobile enterprise solution, mSuite v5.11, which supports leading Android Smartphones, including the Acer Liquid, HTC Droid Eris, Motorola Cliq and HTC Hero.
According to AdMobs 2009 mobile metrics report released in October, Android accounted for 20% of mobile web traffic from Smartphones in the US, up from 7% six months earlier. The analyst Gartner predicted in November that Android will become the second most used OS by 2012. Gartner sees Android gaining 14% of the global Smartphone market, second only to Symbian.
CommonTime says its mSuite software enables businesses to manage their mobile workforces easily, effectively and securely. It adds that mSuite is constantly being updated to support new devices. This latest release extends compatibility to iPhone OS, Palm webOS, Windows Mobile and selected Android and Nokia Symbian devices.
