Company says Buongiorno to Android-optimised Site

Mobile media firm Buongiorno has launched an Android-optimised version of its corporate website, incorporating a dynamic HTML5 plug-in. Visits from smartphones and Tablets to the site grew by 65 per cent in 2011 – nearly half of which came from Android. Over the course of the year, Android visits rose from 9 per cent, to 49.5 per cent by December.
Lucia Predolin, director of Buongiorno’s international marketing & communication, says: “With only 20 per cent of FTSE100 companies offering a mobile website, and only 35 per cent having an auto-detection functionality ensuring that each visitor has the best user experience, confirms Buongiorno as a company at the forefront, at international level.”
