Jacob Fleming Conferences is staging a two day event, IPTV - Opportunities for telcos, broadcasters and consumers. The event takes place at the Hotel Le Meridien Gallia in Milan on 26 and 27 April 2007.
As telcos and ISPs roll out IPTV services, they are facing new challenges in delivering high quality and interactive services that appeals to customers and stimulates the broadband uptake. Over the two days of the conference, content players, service providers and technology suppliers will assess the business models that are most likely to achieve success. Telecom experts will review the fundamental changes in consumer behaviour, needs and expectations. The event will also focus on how IPTV operators differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive television marketplace.
Speakers include Joris van Heukelom, Director of Content for KPN TV & Media; Susana Barbato, Managing Director of IPTV Services at Sonaecom; and Michal Tborsk, IPTV Program Director for Telefnica O2 Czech Republic.
