Cortado Brings PDF Web Capture to iOS

Cloud computing firm Cortado has expanded its free Cortado Workplace product with a web capture feature for iOS that saves web pages in a PDF format.

Cortado Workplace is a free app that lets users access files and documents in the cloud, and also offers a mobile cloud printing environment. In the new version, Cortado Workplace enables iOS users to save and encrypt web pages locally as a PDF, access them offline, archive, send via email, and print.

“Cortado Workplace offers a truly unique combination of features, such as online storage, mobile access to files, printing, document encryption or scan-to-PDF,” says Dirk Löwenberg, business director online sales and services at Cortado. “With the addition of the web capture feature, we continue to innovate the cloud desktop services, improve productivity, save time, and reduce costs while enabling efficient, easy and productive desktop performance on any device.”

To download the free app, head to the Cortado Workplace website.

The solution is also available in a paid-for enterprise edition, called the Cortado Corporate Server. A 30-day trial is available from the Cortado website, while the full version costs from €3.97 (around £3.40) per month or from €97 (around £83) as a one-off purchase cost.
