Crystal Palace FC is to make use of an innovative mobile cloud-sharing app in order to help players prepare for matches and enable coaching staff to monitor how players are digesting information.

The Pushfor app enables the clubs coaching staff to send players confidential information to help with their performance, most commonly video but also images and text. This information is sent our before and after matches with the aim of improving training and monitoring specific opposition behaviour.

The app gives Crystal Palaces performance analysts full control over the content players receive, with analytics tools letting them tell when videos are being views. The app can also send self-expiring content, recall shared videos and set limits on how many times files can be accessed, ensuring security for these crucial tactical notes.

Performance analysis has become an essential part of high-level sports, with every Premier League club employing analytics staff and software. Prior to using Pushfor, Crystal Palace relied upon team meetings and DVDs which were distributed among players. Now, both coaching staff and players have a more efficient and secure method of improving performance.
