Data: 67% of marketers tap AI to create video content

Over 67% of marketers have revealed they are looking to use AI to help create video content, new data has revealed.

According to an independent Censuswide poll of 200 marketers in content development, planning and strategy departments and commissioned by Overcast HQ, video has jumped from the least to the most used content format in marketing campaigns, with an overall 71% increase in usage, despite being dubbed as a “huge obstacle”.

This comes as 55% of respondents claim video is superior when creating marketing campaigns, compared with images (30%) and text (14%).

However, the data revealed the switch from being used the least to the most, creates huge problems for 77% of brands, who cannot locate video content, leading to expensive re-shoots and wasted time.
