Department store Debenhams has launched an app for its beauty section that incorporates shopping and beauty advice. 

The stores Reward Card members can shop for products within the app, with free UK delivery automatically applied to every order. And, if youre in store, you can check out customer reviews of a product by scanning its barcode, or use the GPS on your iPhone to peruse store floor plans, or find a Debenhams store in the first place. 

The app also features a mobile Skincare Consultation, in which the user receives advice on their beautification products, and a Fragrance Finder that allows users to choose perfumes based on the occasion and their lifestyle. 

Users can also try on nail polish by choosing from a range of skin colours, and then previewing nail polish colours onscreen. 

Simon Forster, online trading director at Debenhams says: “The app is about allowing to customers to shop with Debenhams whenever they want and from wherever they are.”

The app is available as a free download from iTunes.
