Deutsche Telekom Rolls Out Celltick Start Solution

celltick startCelltick has announced a partnership with Deutsche Telekom aimed at enriching the mobile experience for the operator’s Android users via their phone’s start screen. The tie up will enable DT to offer its customers single-touch access to their most frequently- used apps and functions, including account services and special offers, through a customized version of Celltick’s ‘Start’ Android interface.

Start provides interactive functionality on the start screen of the device, which enables subscribers to personalize their device. Users can launch up to 24 apps, assisted by an adaptive recommendation engine which optimizes usage based on the user’s behaviour and context. Start offers direct access to social networks, music services, cloud storage, messaging and camera functionalities without unlocking the phone.  Start will be gradually rolled out across the Deutsche Telekom footprint, with T-Mobile Poland as the first operator to preload the service onto selected devices.

“Celltick’s Start allows us to make existing and future services more accessible and useful to our subscribers, and provide a true next-generation Android experience for T-Mobile customers in Poland,” said Wojciech Pronobis, postpaid marketing department director at Deutsche Telekom. “Through the partnership with Celltick, we will be able to further enhance the experience via localized and targeted services that matter to the users, drive loyalty and provide real value to our subscribers.”
