Devicescape Teams Up with Deutsche Telekom

Devicescape Software and Deutsche Telekom have integrated their services to enable easier access for users and more types of device on T-Mobile HotSpot networks. To make it convenient for Devicescape members to find and use the 10,000-plus T- Mobile HotSpot locations across Germany and Europe, Devicescape now sells service subscriptions and vouchers directly on members account pages.
We have a growing member base of wi-fi device owners who enjoy easy and seamless connections from all their devices across Europe says Devicescape CEO, Dave Fraser. By offering a simple and convenient way to purchase T-Mobile HotSpot access from member account pages, we hope to make their wi-fi experience even better and to increase the number of Devicescape members who use T-Mobile.
The announcement is the latest development in the partnership between the two companies that was made public at Mobile World Congress in February 2008, which enables T-Home and T-Mobile users to enjoy automatic wireless access whenever they are within range of a T-Mobile HotSpot. With many of Deutsche Telekoms 8,000 plus T-Mobile HotSpots located in Germany, relevant pages on the Devicescape website are now available in both English and German.
The Devicescape solution eliminates the need for users to type in login and password information and supports automatic login for devices with or without browsers. Devicescape also automates access at roaming partner hotspot. Additionally, operators that offer both cellular and wi-fi access can use Devicescape to seamlessly shift users from cellular networks on to wi-fi networks.
Devicescape is free for consumers and the software is available for popular devices, including Nokia Eseries and Nseries, Windows Mobile Smartphones, laptops with Mac OSX, Windows XP and Vista, and the iPhone and iPod touch, on the Devicescape website  www.devicescape.com
