Microsoft Advertising has appointed Nik Dewar as UK head of mobile ad sales, responsible for advertising on the re-branded MSN mobile browser; ads in apps (including the Miyowa Android Messenger app); and Skype mobile.
Dewar has a strong track-record of creating award winning campaigns and managing strategic relationships with advertising and agency partners, recently growing Microsoft Advertising’s biggest customer, with significantly increased year-on-year spend.
“I am delighted Nik has agreed to lead our mobile advertising business,” says Andy Hart, General Manager of Microsoft Advertising & Online. “He has an extensive knowledge of mobile, strategic account management and an ability to deliver results. Mobile is a significant focus, and Microsoft’s new partnership with Mojiva provides simple, effective and scalable mobile advertising monetisation solutions for mobile developers, premium publishers and advertisers worldwide.”
Microsoft Advertising recently announced that it would integrate Mojiva’s Mocean Mobile platform into its existing suite of digital advertising technologies, to serve mobile display ads across its global network of mobile apps and websites.
