Giving away iTunes, Amazon and Facebook credits leads to 12 times more engagement than standard promotions on Apple’s iAd platform, found Ifeelgoods digital promotions.
The company has found that offering digital rewards rather than standard discounts in banner ads leads to a 12 times higher click through rate.
60 per cent of people who interact with these kinds of promotions then go on to share them on social media networks, which Ifeelgoods says increases conversions by 30 per cent.
“With more advertisers needing their campaigns to operate in a multi-channel environment, Ifeelgoods offers its full suite of digital rewards promotions via all mobile channels,” said Michael Amar, CEO and co-founder of Ifeelgoods. “When those same advertisers substitute a valuable digital reward that is relevant to the user in place of a standard discount promotion, CTR and conversion rates are substantially lifted. Its clear to us that digital rewards promotions via mobile channels will see a growing share of the media mix.”
The company offers SMS promotions, mobile advertising and QR code campaigns using digital rewards, creating trackable actions for customer acquisition. The company says it has more than 100 clients, includeing Walmart, Coca-Cola and Universal Pictures.
