Digital video editing: Grabyo releases browser-based tool

Wimbledon live video GrabyoCloud video platform Grabyo has released its new browser-based video editing tool which it says will enable brands and businesses to create and edit short videos for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat without the need for extensive training and software licenses.

 Grabyo Editor is a browser-based editing tool for creating short video highlights and social videos quickly and allows professional-quality output, inclusive of transitions, audio edits and titling without the need for specific hardware.

Grabyo’s features, which include real-time clipping, live event production and video editing enables marketers to react to trends in real-time, allowing for the creation, editing and delivery of content to social and digital platforms in moments.

The platform currently works with live event broadcasters such as Wimbledon, BT Sport, Eurosport and La Liga. According to the Grabyo website, La Liga pulled in six million viewers on its Facebook page through Facebook Live in 2017 while BT Sport increased engagement by live streaming the fight between Connor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez in 2016.

Grabyo says brands can push their messaging alongside key events as they happen on its platform which creates supplementary content that can create a more memorable experience for users.
