Newsletter rolls out its app after 80,000 downloads in beta

David Murphy, a global platform devoted to making quality short movies and series available on mobile, TV and web, has announced the launch of its app of the same name.

The company said more than 80,000 people from 216 countries have already subscribed to the beta version, and that to date, it has amassed more than 2m views on planes, trains, hotels and across social platforms.

The company has recently secured partnership deals with Qatar Airways, KLM, Etihad Airways, British Airways, National Express, Cathay Pacific, American Airlines, Air Canada, Virgin Trains and Eurostar who all show short films to their passengers. Most recently it has signed a distribution deal to provide short movies to South African mobile operator Vodacom, which has 55m customers.
