Distimo has announced that its Distimo Monitor software – a free app store analytics tool for developers – now offers support for Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.

It already supported mobile app stores including the Apple App Store, BlackBerry App World, Android Market and Nokia Ovi Store, as well as Apples Mac App Store for OS X apps.

Distimo Monitor is a free app store analytics tool that allows developers to monitor daily downloads, revenue and rankings. The software collects all relevant statistics about mobile applications across seven different app stores, and allows developers to benchmark their rankings with competing apps in any country. Developers gain insight into where competing apps are successful and where opportunities for their own apps may exist, says the company.

Additionally, Distimo Monitor now tracks daily consumer reviews from any country in the Apple App Store and Android Market. Reviews are automatically translated, and developers can add custom labels to track improvements. Reviews can also be shared via Twitter. The software does not require developers to add code to their apps for the software to work, says Distimo.

“It continues to be more and more challenging for mobile developers to understand the best marketplaces and ways to distribute their products and services to mobile consumers,” says Distimo CEO and co-founder, Vincent Hoogsteder. “Distimo Monitor solves a huge challenge for them, by providing a free benchmark reporting tool and dashboard that removes all of the manual reporting work required with distributing an application in multiple app stores.”
