Married couples in Scotland who find the spark has gone out of their marriage could soon put themselves out of their misery by getting a divorce via their smartphone, according to a report in today’s Daily Record Scottish newspaper.
According to the report, Scottish legal firm Divorce Law Scotland plans to launch a smartphone app offering legal advice on getting divorced. As the report points out, quick online divorces, known as ‘Evorces’, can already be done via email, with most couples needing to meet a lawyer only once. The mobile version would make the process even smoother.
