DMA and IDM Team Up for Mobile Workshop

The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) is staging two Interactive Mobile Marketing Workshops in the coming months. The first takes place in Bristol at the offices of Osborne Clarke on 20 February, and is being organised by DMA West, in conjunction with IDM (Institute of Direct Marketing) West. Its a half-day event, running from 12 noon to 5.15pm, sponsored by Osborne Clarke. It includes an explanation of mobile marketing technologies and jargon; the opportunity to participate in live demonstrations; an examination of real-life campaigns, including the results they achieved; and the chance to quiz an expert panel of speakers.
These include Paul Berney, Managing Director of Response Mobile, Nick Fuller, Owner, Nick Fuller Digital DM,  Anna Montes, a Solicitor at Osborne Clarke), Jonathan Bass, Managing Director of  Incentivated, and Alex Meisl, Chief Executive of  Sponge.
The event costs 60 (+VAT) for DMA or IDM members, 75 for non-members. Attendance at the workshop is eligible for the IDM, IPA and CIM Continuing Professional Development (CPD) schemes.

The second workshop is being staged by the DMA on 22 March at the Business Design Centre in London. The workshop will give delegates hands-on experience of the mobile marketing technologies available, and explain how to implement and use them, and how much it costs to plan and execute a mobile campaign.
