Dominos Adds Loyalty to its Recipe for Mobile Success

Dominos Pizza has been an early adopter of mobile since its earliest days, and in addition to its mobile ordering system has introduced a number of innovative mobile marketing schemes, from ordering via emoji to an app that translated stomach rumbles into topping suggestions.
Now, the fast food brand is adding a more traditional string to its mobile bow, in the form of a new loyalty program, Piece of the Pie Rewards, which enables consumers to earn points towards free menu items by ordering via mobile.
Customers can sign up for the program either online or via their smartphone, and begin collecting points straight away. Members will also be rewarded with exclusive promotions and discounts in addition to the free menu items they accumulate through spending.
The loyalty program will be fully integrated into the companys existing mobile app, and will also enable users to track their past purchases, earned points and redeemed points through a Pizza Profile.
