Dominos Pizza has seen its mobile sales rise by 46.9 per cent in the UK during Q3, 2012, up to a total value of £11.6m.
mCommerce, across Dominos mobile site and apps, accounted for 18.5 per cent of its total online sales during the period, and helped push total online revenues up 39.3 per cent.
“Pizza delivery is all about convenience and great service, so the way in which customers order their pizza should be too,” said Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director, Domino’s Pizza. “With our vast range of mobile ordering platforms – iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows Phone 7 apps, not to mention our mobile optimised websites – we’re enabling customers to order whenever and wherever they are, whether it’s on the train home or dual-screening as they sit in front of the TV.”
