Dunkin Donuts Goes Nationwide with Mobile Ordering

DD-OnTheGoOrdering_AppUS restaurant brand Dunkin Donuts has rolled out its mobile ordering capability nationwide, in an effort to keep pace with similar offerings from rival brands including Starbucks and provide consumers with a mobile solution that combines loyalty, ordering and payment.

The brands On-the-Go Ordering is now available for all members of the companys DD Perks Rewards Program, enabling users to order and pay in advance via a mobile device, then pick up their order at a local restaurant up to 24 hours later.

The rollout to Dunkin Donuts 8,000 branches across the US comes as part of a wider effort by the brand to integrate mobile into their offering. The brand has also released a new version of its app with a more contemporary design that features one-tap ordering, digital loyalty and mobile coupons.

“On-the-Go Ordering represents one of Dunkin Dotus most exciting and important advances, and with todays national launch we have achieved an entirely new level of speed and convenience we can offer our busy, on-the-go DD Perks members,” said Sherrill Kaplan, vice president of digital marketing and innovation for Dunkin Donuts US.
