The deadline to enter the 2018 Effective Digital Marketing Awards has been extended by one week. The final entry deadline is now midnight UK time on Friday 6 April. There will be a late entry surcharge of £50 per entry per category for all entries received after the original deadline of midnight UK time tomorrow, Thursday 29 March, so it's worth aiming for that date, but anyone who can't make it now has the comfort zone of an additional week to enter.
The awards program, now in its second year, is run by our events business, Masterclassing. Mobile Marketing was acquired by Masterclassing in January. The Effective Digital Marketing Awards ran last year under the name of the Masterclassing Marketing Awards, but have been rebranded for 2018 to dovetail nicely with our own Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, now in their ninth year, which launch on 9 April.
Where the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards focus on mobile, the Effective Digital Marketing Awards celebrate excellence in the wider digital sphere. There are 26 categories in all, including Most Effective Influencer Campaign; User-generated Content Campaign; Content Marketing Campaign; Email Campaign; AI Solution; and Tech Platform. The Awards will be a judged by a panel of global brand marketers from a wide range of industries who have served as keynote speakers at Masterclassing events over the past 12 months. They include senior digital marketers from ASOS, HP, Japan Airlines, Odeon Cinema Group, the Financial Times, Purity Vodka and Mandarin Oriental.
