Endeavor Targets Mobile to Help Developing Markets

Non-profit organisation Endeavor is running a mobile digital media tour for entrepreneurs from the emerging markets of Latin America and the Middle East. The invitation-only event will take place 9-10 November in New York City.
20 entrepreneurs will gather for a private immersion tour with Reid Hoffman (co-founder of LinkedIn) and other executives from companies such as Facebook, News Corporation, Huffington Post / AOL, IAC, R/GA, Edelman, Gilt Groupe, and Barclays Capital. These senior executives will provide pro-bono mentoring, advice, and support.
Endeavor is a global non-profit, operating in 15 countries that has screened 29,000 candidates and supported 600 entrepreneurs that demonstrate high growth potential. Last year, Endeavor entrepreneurs generated $4.5bn in revenues and created 150,000 jobs, according to the organisation.
Some of Endeavors success stories in the mobile space are participating in the tour. Turkish mobile software developer Pozitron, a mobile software developer for large companies in MENA will take part; as will Egyptian mobile platform VAS platform T.A. Telecom.
