SMS provider Esendex is celebrating signing up its 10,000th customer. After expanding rapidly into international markets, the company’s 10,000th customer is a Spanish firm, i-rent, which offers an online holiday booking and rental service. The company is using Esendex’s text messaging services for customer service communications; notifying property owners and housekeepers about reservations, cancellations and scheduled maintenance. It also plans to use SMS for a wider range of services in the future. The company has integrated its applications with Esendex’s API to ensure the seamless delivery of messages.
Esendex has direct connections to mobile networks and global coverage. The company currently operates in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Australia and the US, and says it is seeing exponential growth in these territories.
