ESPN Scores with Global Soccer App

Sports TV network ESPN has launched a global football news app. The app, called ESPNsoccernet, includes news, scores and analysis from major leagues around the world, and is sponsored by bookie William Hill in the UK. 

The app offers personalised and location-aware content, with fans able to input their favourite teams and leagues. The app will also give users access to exluslive video and audio – ESPNsoccernet has an range of video and podcasts, according to ESPN. The app will also offer push notification for scores. 

It is available for iOS, while the media company says Android, Windows Phone and Symbian versions are “to follow”.
