European Debut for qode with ONE Water Campaign

NeoMedia Technologies has revealed that the ethical water brand, ONE, will become the first European brand to use NeoMedias qode application on its packaging to enable customers to fastrack to brand-related content on the Mobile Internet. The campaign rolls out in December, when the first shipments of more than 5 million ONE water bottles bearing qode-enabled  smart codes will begin appearing at more than 4,000 retail outlets throughout the U.K.
ONE enjoys a reputation for breaking new ground in marketing, and by having NeoMedias qode linking its bottles to information and charitable giving capability on the Mobile Internet, it believes it is once again at the forefront of the latest developments in the marketing field.
NeoMedias patented qode suite is an easy-to-use set of applications, including qode reader and qode window, which provide One Click to Content  connectivity for products, print, packaging and other physical objects to link directly to specific desired content on the Mobile Internet.
Qode reader works with camera phones, enabling users to photograph two-dimensional smart codes to access the Mobile Internet site to which the code is linked. Qode window enables users to reach the same destination by entering a key word, slogan or product name. 
Initially, smart codes linked to qode will appear on 5 million bottles of ONE water, which is stocked by more than 4,000 retail outlets in the UK, including Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose and Co-op supermarkets, Total petrol stations, and virtually all UK colleges and universities.
ONE water says that qode will unlock the potential of the Mobile Internet allowing its consumers real-time access to important information about the brand and its humanitarian work in Africa, together with competitions, special offers, and even over-the-air donations.
