WATCH: Eurostar launches Olympic campaign with Tom Allen

Eurostar has launched a new brand campaign “Let the Games Begin,” featuring Team GB and ParalympicsGB, with comedian Tom Allen joining travellers heading to the Paris Olympics.

In time for a summer of sports, the campaign showcases the anticipation of athletes and travellers making their way to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As the Official Travel Partner for Team GB and ParalympicsGB, the railway company is preparing to welcome over 2,000 athletes from Team GB, Team Belgium, Team Para Belgium, Team Netherlands, Team Para NL and Team Germany.

Running until the end of the Paralympics on 8 September, the campaign will be showcased across TV, social media, radio, and out-of-home platforms.

The 20-second film, produced by adam&eveDDB and DDB Paris, showcases athletes and travellers beginning their journey to the Games with Eurostar.

As a result, the Eurostar platform is transformed into an Olympic running track, turning the routine act of boarding a train into an amusing spectacle with live sports commentary from comedian Tom Allen.

Eurostar, Chief Commercial Officer, Francois Le Doze, said: “We are excited to reveal our new brand campaign, which focuses on what Eurostar does best: bringing people together. Close your eyes, and you’re instantly transported.”
