Network VAS company Evolved Intelligence has launched a real-time inbound roamer monitoring widget, which monitors inbound roamers and analyses attachment attempts. Part of the companys SS7 Roaming INSIGHT system, the widget shows the overall probability of attachment for each roamer and a breakdown of each issue that reduces this – including steering, misrouting and missing CAMEL agreements.
“This sort of analysis is absolutely vital for the profitability of any roaming business,” says Robin Burton, head of marketing at Evolved Intelligence. “It shows where business is being lost, and where steering is being used against the operator. This allows the roaming manager to negotiate much more effectively with his opposite number. ”
