Clara, the largest operator in Brazil, has deployed Evolving Systems SIM card optimisation solutions. Clara has more than 51m customers, and has gone live with Evolving Systems Dynamic SIM Allocation (DSA) solution, which helps operators to streamline their SIM card supply chain and optimise their telephone number inventory, according to the company. The solution was delivered by Evolving Systems in partnership with digital security company Gemalto.

The DSA solution was required by Clara in order to comply with countrywide number utilisation regulations imposed by ANATEL, Brazils telecommunications regulator. Claro needed to optimise its SIM card provisioning process, operating under a regional numbering plan.
