EyeEm has released its photography sharing app for Windows Phone, which launched for iOS and Android in August 2011. According to the company, this version was developed in close consultation with Microsoft, and has been listed as a featured app in the Windows Market across multiple territories.
“EyeEm offers a great mix of sharing and discovery around photo content that we felt would sit perfectly on the platform,” says Microsoft Germanys Jens Garberding, platform marketing lead for Windows Phone. “Tagging by location and activity brings a novel twist to the photosharing space, and has built an engaging community that we’re sure our users will want to be a part of.”
The release coincides with an overhaul of its sister web platform, which has streamlined the site to complement the layout and design of the apps.
