Facebook Brings Auto-play Video to App Install Ads

Facebook Tablet AdFacebook has introduced new buying, creative, and targeting options for app install ads on its mobile properties.

Probably the biggest addition is auto-play video ads, which will trigger automatically as the user scrolls through their news feed.

Facebooks device targeting has also been extended to include Amazon Fire tablets – giving publishers on the Amazon Appstore a chance to promote their apps on Facebook for the first time.

Finally, Facebook has introduced reach and frequency caps for app install ads, improving control over how often someone sees an ad.
