Facebook Brings Home to Android App

Facebook has brought the lockscreen functionality, first introduced with its Home app in April, to its Android app.
Through the apps latest update, users with compatible handsets can use the Facebook Home launcher on their phones lockscreen to view Facebook updates and gain quick access to their camera and Messenger.
Its unclear whether Facebook always planned to port this functionality across, or whether its a reflection on the weak performance of the Home app. 
Along with the update, the number of devices which are compatible with this lockscreen takeover has been expanded to a total of seven, with the addition of the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and Nexus 4.
