Facebook Increases Image Size Standards

Facebook has updated its ad standards with a larger image size.

Any pictures used in ads or shared posts on the social network must now be at least 560×292 pixels; with 1200×627 recommended. Facebook is hoping this small change will increase click-through rates as larger images are more engaging. 

Its all part of Facebooks wider initiative to simplify its advertising offering, which saw it halve its number of ad units cut in June.
