Facebook Set to Launch a Payments Platform

Facebook is working on a digital wallet, enabling members to make payments in other partnered apps, which is expected to see initial tests within the next month.
The payments product, reports AllThingsD, would enable anyone who has opted to store their card details when making a purchase on the social network to pay using just their Facebook log-in details. 
A spokeperson for Facebook confirmed to us that it is currently working on a payments test, but was unable to share any further details.
